the benefit of the' new fire truck
and a. good sum was realized.
On Friday they gave a free bar-,
hecue dinner and served about 300
white and colored people and quite
a number expressea tneir appre
ciation by handing in an offering
to the amount-of about $200.00.
The fire "truck was driven in at
ten o'clock and parked, where :the
Hinnpr urns served.. The Woman's
Club sponsored serving the dinner
and had plenty ot help irom otners.
