Mrs. W. J. Middleton Jr. present ed a program on the life pi George Fredrick Handel and bis great ora torio, "The Messiah".. A short quiz followed; The group joined in sing ing-carols. While refreshments were being served recordings of carols were played softly. BIRTHDAY Gerald Jones, son of Mr. and Mrs, R. . J. Jones celebrated his 16th birthday Monday evening when he entertained a number , of friends at a party at his home. Games and dancing were enjoyed.
