tain Town Community, died 'Sat.
urday at 1 a.m. in the Onslow
County Hospital. He was a farmer
and a lifelong resident of the com
munity. Funeral services were con.
ducted Sunday afternoon at 2:00
o'clock from the Muddy Creek Bap
tist Church. Burial, was In the
Fountain Cemetery. Surviving are
his wife, Mrs. Minnie Jones; one
son, Ernest, of the home; one daug
hter. Mrs. Ophelia Melton of Jack
sonville;i two sisters,. Beulah Jones
and Julia Jones; both of Richlands;
three brothers, Andrew of Raleigh,
Joshua of Warsaw and Isaac Jones
of Richlands; three grandchildren.
