' The President reported a bust ness meeting and luncheon at the home of the District Director, Mrs. Corbett Howard, in Goldsboro Sep tentber 7th. Of the 29 clubs in the 9th District, 20 were represented by their presidents. Mrs. Boy Home wood of Chanel Hill, president of The Garden Clubs of North Caro line, was there and urged the presi ¬ dents to encourage each member of their club to attend the District meeting in New Bern November 7h.
