Harmon who spoke on The Busi ness and Profession Women of the Old South. After this Mrs. Henry Stevens gave a most interesting re port of. the general convention held in Asheville.. The hostesses served a chicken salad plate and coffee. Mrs. Yancy Smith Mrs. Yancy Smith entertained her club last Thursday night the 15th at her home on Co.iea St. Mrs.iMattie Torrans and Mrs. Bon nie Thomas were welcomed as vi sitors. Those playing were Mes -dames Moman Barr, Lawton Al -bertson, Robert Lewis, Miss Nora Blackmore and Mrs. Smith. The club high was won by Mrs. Albertson who received a box of Xmas cards. The traveling prizs was won by Mrs. Robert Lewis who received ash trays. Mrs. Bonnie Thomas won visitor's high and re ceived a scarf. During progressions coco colas and potato sticks were enjoyed. At the end of the game ine nostess served pecan pie, ice cream and coffee. The children gathered at the church where the S:udy course was given. Afterwards they went to the home of Mrs. Bill Vann for refreshments. After this they were carried to the home of Mrs. Jimmy Strickland who served the members punch and cookies.
