torium for their monthly meeting.

hymn and prayer opened the Ses
sion. The devotional was. taken
from Isiah and Matthew. ;"Meet
The Alaskans" the program of the
month was discussed by Mrs. Par
ker and Mrs. Adelle Matthews,
GeoraeoDhy. Industry. History and
Government of Alaska was discus
sed also our Baptist work. During
World War II through Chaplains
we learned of the Spiritual needs
and now Baptist churches are es
tablished in Ketchikan, Juneau,
Anchorage. Fairbanks and Palmer,
Mrs. J. G. Bostic led' a prayer for
the spiritual growth and Baptist
work being done there. The roll
call was followed by a short bust.
