duced the -speaker-, Mrs. Helen
Cushman. Mrs. Cushman read as
her text the Declaration of Inde
pendence, and urged all Americans
to insist upon their freedom. She
particularly stressed the danger of
our losing our freedom of speech
through negligence and careless
ness, and pointed out how Chat
freedom Is restricted dally by cen
aohship and " government imposed
regulations on methods of commu
nication. She concluded by reading from
the Book of Americans by Stephen
Benet.

day to visit her mother, Mrs. Guy
Gooding. She will be joined for
