Receives Over 200 Voiums
'More than 200 vo'umrs have
been contributed by fiends to the
Rose Hill Community Memorial Li
brary in the pact year Mrs. Lula
S. Herring, librarian stated re
cently while discussing the pre
sent plans and facilities of the
small permanent collection of lit
erature which supplements thevol
umes placed periodically by the
county library.
. ' In planning for ways and mesns
of enlarging our permanent col
lection and services ' Mrs. Herring
continued, we decided to follow
the example of other successful li
braries and ' purchase ' memorial
book plates to encourage -contributions,
since we have nJ funds
with which to purchase books and
periodicals in order to develop and
maintain adequate seivice to our
reading public. . ,
The Jibrary is Vry glad to an
nounce that these handsome book

ly arrived. The bookplates, will
