In an " ' afternoon ceremony here September 20 In the First Baptist Church, Miss Nancy Louise Phillips became the bride of Delano Simpson with the Bev. Marvin R. Haire officiating. The bride is the daughter of Mr. nd Mrs. G. C. Phillips of Rich lands and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. M. J. Simpson of Beulaville. - The bride, who was given in i marriage by her father, wore an ankle length dress of nylon net and lace over white satin and carried a bouquet of white roses. Her wed ding veil was held by a tiara of seed pearls. Attending her was her sister, Mrs. Alton Howard of Columbus; Ga., s matron of honor. She wore a ballerina lepgth dress of lavender nylon net over taffeta and carried pink roses. Bobby PhiHips, brother of the bride, was best man. Ushers were Alton Howard, Robert Howard, George Howard and Harold Simpson. Miss Mary Ellen Phillips, Miss Eleanor Biffle, Miss Spencie Rhodes and Miss Jo Ann Bunn were the bridesmaids. They wore ballerina length dresses in pastel shades and carried bouquets of assorted flow ers. A program of nuptial music was presented by Miss Janet Harper at the organ and Mia Helen Bunn, oloist. ' ' The mother of the bride wore a sjrey crepe dress with a corsage of ted roses. The bridegroom's moth er was gowned in navy with a red rose corsage. After the wedding a reception i- - f 1 i , V - t fc- - I . was held in the home of the bride's mother, after which the couple left for a wedding trip through the western part of the State.
