D. S. Club Meets
In Magnolia
The D. S. Club had its regular
monthly meeting Tuesday, afternoon
April 20, at 3:00 o'clock with Mrs.
Eva Drew. Hostess was Mrs. Alice
Kornegay.
The meeting was called to order
by President Mrs.' Ralph Bishop,
16 members answered the roll call.
The group sang "United Nations
Hymn". Miss Grace Drew, gave the
devotional. Secretary, Mrs. Thur
man Evans, read the minutes.
Treasurer, Mrs. J. H. Williams,
gave the treasurer's report.
Mis. Johnson, agent, gave a dem
onstration on Professional Methods
in Clothing Construction. She told
how to choose a pattern. Then what
steps should be used in cutting out
your dress. How to put sleeves and
zippers in. Then how to hem your
dress.
Leader, Mrs. Frances Usher, gave
a report on Music and Family Lite.

South Dakota and Faison died of
a heart attack at his home at 3:30
a.m Easter morning. He had beeii

Mrs Jewel Thomas of Elizabeth
town left by plane immediately after
receipt of the news. Mr. Clifton
was married three weeks ago to the
former Ethel Scheper of Dead
