MELLOY
. stack away a few 'paper.' baggs and
when the culpritt arrives to do his
dirty work just blow up a few of
those" bags and smatt them between
your fists with a bang and - a bust.
Out will go your molester as fast
as he can go, Uuless - now that you
may be one of those ladies who re
fuse to look-under beds etc. fraid
you might scare him away! In that
case,' by all means, don't blast the
Dags In place, justmoan and groan
as if you had heard nothing in the
worlds I have nothing further
to say on the subject!
.'-.. y ' '',
It's probably much more difficult
to keep from running away from the
truth, once you have found It, than
to find it in the first , place. Tis
said, "It's the truth that hurts." Is
it better to suffer in silence than
to hurt ' some one else . with the
truth? Or what ever happened to
be circulating around at the time
doesn't necessarily mean one has to
believe anything they hear; but,
they say, Vlt's the truth that hurts."
Here in our country now, in these
modern times our young folks boast
that they will give we elders the
full benefit of their past experiences
- to me; AND some that is expected
to happen from the way some of
them act! But, we're proud of our
young people and wish we could
give them a better opportunity that
they already have.
t
After you're married don't go
back to your preacher and ask for
your money back because he hap
pened to always be preaching that,
"It's not' right for one person to have
to suffer for the mistakes of others."
After all, you should have had your
money's worth of experience by that
time!
A good person would far better
suffer a wrong than to commit one;
and all of us be much happier to
be cheated once in a while than
NOTvbe able to trust people. The
secret of happiness lies in the free
dom of mind and body - the secret,
of our freedom lies in our courage
to do good. Contentment can be
found in a routine of work, creative
thought, skill and initiative! No
matter how well, or how far in
life we go we always have to take
that FIRST STEP toward our goal.
Memories are what makes our life
beautiful, while a lot of our forget-
fulness is what makes it possible to
be beautiful! . The most difficult
thing to remember is to forget all
our "petty troubles." Our lives here
on this earth are the cradles which
we pre pare ourselves for the life
hereafter. We should always re
member that we cannot help those
who are weak by helping weaken
the strong. Keep an open, mind -there's
always a chance that some
one will drop a worthwhile idea
around! ,'
I guess about the best thing about
the future is that it only comes one
day at a time. If you ever get your
husband to go shopping with you,
don't make the mistake to ask much
of his opinions such as, "Isn't it
just too sweet, dear," because he
just might answer with a "No, it's
just too dear, sweet!" Would I be

THIS IS
REAL PROPERTY LAW '
(Husband and Wife)
Questions . are .frequently raised
about the difference in the inherit
ance of a husband in the real estate
of his deceased wife and inheritance
of a wife in the real estate of her
deceased husband, r
'...':"..'.':,.'. Dower.
By Statute a married woman.
upon the death of her husband
without a will or if she should dis
sent from his will, is entitled to a
life estate in one-third in value of
all of the real property which her
husband owned during the marri
age.-.
The wife may lose this dower right
If she commits adultery and is not
living with her husband at his death
or is convicted of the felonious
slaying of her husband or being an
accessory before the fact to such
slaying.
The Widow's dower may be allot
ted by a deed Between her and the
other survivors.
If such deed is not made,
the widow may petition the Sup
going jtoo far In saying, that there
are too many of us have just enough
Christianity in us to keep us from
grasping the REAL thing.
Wouldn't it be nice these days to
open a joint account at some bank
with someone -who has money? In
stead, we have to grapple with our
every-day grim problems in a world
of reality; especially we offer
condelence to those people's who
have Radio and T. V. and their set
gets broken or out of order when
they have to come back to think
ing! It's like liking your job, IF
you didn't have to get to work on
time which makes the day longer!
Could you meet success like a
gentleman? or disaster like a man?
Suppose it could be said of you -
that you never made anyone un
happy until you went away? Would
It could be as easy to keep in love
as It is to fall in love.
