The hostess served cookies, toasted pe cans and iced drinks to the ten members and one visitor present. CIRCLE 2 met with Mrs. C. V. Garner. Mrs. Frank Thomas, chair man, presided. Number 7 entertained No. 8 at a weiner roast Weiners, marsh mallows, potato chips and iced drinks we're enjoyed by the 20 members present Mrs. Paul Berry, chairman of Circle 8, presided over the business. Mrs. Glenn Brown gave the devo tional and had charge 'of the pro gram assisted by Mrs. Sam Jones, Mrs. Kenneth Brock and Mrs. Leon Miller. Mrs. John A. Johnson closed the meeting with prayer. CIRCLE 9 met with Mrs. Bob Blanchard. Mrs. Ormond Grice, chairman, presided and gave the de votional. Mrs. Robert Davis assisted by Mrs. David Sutton and Mrs. Grice presented the program. Battery B At Summer Camp Battery B, 150th AAA Gun Bn. left Sunday morning at 4:50 A. M. by motor convoy for their fourth year summer camp at Camp Ste wart, Georgia. There were 65 en listed' men and two officers with the group. In Wallace they were joined by.-the Battery D and in Ridgeland, S. C. with the 252nd group, traveling in group control to Camp Stewart. During their 15 days they will put into practice the things learn ed in the past year, operations of radar and directing and firing 90 MM guns. 1st. Lt. Richard S. Bostic is Com mander of the Battery and 2nd. Lt Carl D. Pate is the additional officer. Pate had been a member of the Warsaw Unit for six years transferring here as Sgt S. C. and was promoted June 9. Presbyterian Circles CIRCLE 1 Circle 1 met with Mrs. Edwin P. Ewers, chairman, as hostess with 12 present Mrs. Fred Baars gave the bible study and Mrs. E. B. Lashley gave the program.
