Funeral services were held Thursday at 3 p.m. from the Oak Dale Church with the Rev. K. D. Brown of Burgaw officiating. Burial followed in the Henderson cemetery near the home,. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Mary Annie Brown; two sons, William R. and Marvin of the home; three sisters, Mrs. Clara E. Sholar and Mrs. J. E. Henderson, both of Route 4, Wallace, and Mrs, Cora Sanderson of Beulaville; two grandchildren. MRS. VTVA LANIER Mrs. Viva Lanier, 55, died at James Walker'Hospital in Wilming ton Wednesday afternoon. Funeral services were held from the resi dence at Chinquapin Friday at 3 p.m. in charge of the Rev. Mr. Ellis of Wilson. Burial followed in the Jeff Lanier cemetery. Survivors are her husband, Jodie Lanier; four sons, Tom and Tim Aikens of Nor folk, Va, Jessie Franklin of Wal lace, J.
