Harry, is now training as part of
the U. fi. security force on the pen
insula. Private Rouse, a member of Com
pany Ji., arrived in Korea this May
from an assignment at Fort Lewis,
Wash. He entered the Army in No
vember, 1953.

Sgt. Robert E. Creech, 22, whose
wife, TMary, lives in Phenix City,
Ala., recently was assigned to the
Bremerhaven Port of Embarkation
in Germany.
Located in a U. S. enclave on the
North Sea, Bremerhaven is the maj
or -supply port for U. S. troops in
Germany and the only principal
seaport in Europe entirely under
American control.
The son of Mr. and Mrs .J. E.
Creech, Route 1, "Warsaw, N. C,
Creech is a postal specialist in the
Station Complement Detachment.
A veteran of three years previous
service, he served with the 5th
Regimental Combat Team in Ko
rea. He was employed by the Pen
insula Life Insurance Co. in Co
lumbus, Ga., before reentering the
Army last November.

Fountain, N. C, recently joined the
2d Armored Division in Germany.
The "Hell on Wheels" division,
which spearheaded the World War
II drive into Germany, is now train
ing vigorously as part of the U. S.
Seventh Army.
Private Fountain, a member of
the division's Combat Command R,
entered the Army in September
1953 and was formerly stationed at
Fort Story, Va.
Before entering the Army he at
tended the University of North Car
olina at Chapel Hill.

chute Packing, Maintenance and
Aerial Delivery School at Fort Lee,
Virginia. Cpl. Brown is a member
of the 11th Airborne Quartermaster
Parachute Supply and Maintenance
Company, 11th Airborne Division,
Fort Campbell, Kentucky.
This extensive twelve week course
is designed to train select person
nel in the packing personnel and
equipment type parachutes, repair
of parachutes, and the rigging of
heavy equipment for dropping by
parachute from an aircraft in flight.
Upon completion of the school Cpl.
Brown will return to the Parachute
Supply and Maintenance Co. where
he will serve in his capacity as a
qualified army parachute rigger.

February of 1953. He is a graduate
of the Army Parachute Jump School
at Fort Benning, Georgia.
