ved. Prayer Services
Mid-week Prayer Services will
begin at the Magnolia -Methodist
Church on Tuesday, August 31, at
8:0OPm.
.These prayer services will continue
throughout the winter months. They
will feature song periods, prayer
periods, periods for meditation, and
above all Christian Fellowship.
The prayer meeting during the
month of September will be used
for group and individual prayer
periods for the church's revival
which will begin Sunday, Septem
ber 19 and will continue through
Sunday, September 25th. Prayer
groups have been set up with each
group having a prayer leader. These
groups will meet in different parts
of the church to hold seasons of
prayer for the revival.

Monday Night
The first meeting of the P. T. A.
was held Monday night in the
school auditorium. President A. Lan
ier, Jr., presided and Clifton Chest
nutt, secretary and treasurer gave
the reports.
Mrs. C. H. Pope was in charge of
a short play given by some of her
students. ,
The meeting was well attended.

With, advance preparations coming

finishing .'last minute' preparations
for their revival which will begin
Sunday night of next 'week and
will continue throughout the week.
