They were accompanied to Raleigh by Mrs. Ike Stroud who spent the afternoon with her daugh ter, Miss Dorothy Carol Stroud at Meredith College. Miss Lula Mae Jones, also a Meredith student,' ac companied her mother to the game. Mr. and Mrs. Jasper Smith spent the weekend at Topsail. Mrs. Ethro Hill spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. M. Thornton at Newton Grove. Mr. Thornton returned to nis nome Sat urday, after having been a patient at Sampson Memorial hospital in Clinton. Mrs. Billy Brewer and children spent the weekend with relatives in Farmville, Va.
