Each circle made many, definite .plana for their yean work and many inspiring program given ua for the purpose of Christlike W. M. V. organisation. All meetings were held Monday. Circle Mo. 1 , Circle No. 1 met at the home of Mrs. Davis : Holllngsworth with 9 members present, Mrs. Florence Houston, chairman, presided. Mrs.. J. S. Porter gave the devotional. The program was presented by Miss Betty Loftin, Mrs. Houston and Mrs. Clarence Brown. ' The hostess served a frozen fruit salad, ritz and tea. Circle No. Circle No. 2 met with their chair man, Mrs. F. J. Thomas. Mrs. Les j ; lie Brown gave the devotional and - -j had charge of the program assisted . by Mrs. Paul S. The hostess served iced drinks, potato chips, open faced sandwiches and pecan rolls. Circle No. 4 Circle No. 4 met with Mrs. J. F. Strickland with ten present Mrs. L. O. Williams presided. Miss Nora Blackmore was in charge of the program. ' . The hostess served punch and as sorted cookies.' Circle No. 6 Circle No. 5 met with Mrs. John. Fred Eason with eleven present and Mrs. D. L. Matthis, co-hostess. Mrs. Fayette Batts assisted by Mrs. Graham . Phillips and Mrs. B1U Knowlei presented the program. The hostesses served punch, cheese straws, toasted nuts and po tato chips. Club held its an nual game tournament Thursday evening at the school cafeteria which was ' attractively decorated with fall leaves, flowers, berries and yellow roses. The entire proceeds from the twenty-two tables In play went to the State Home Project. Punch was served during progres sions and at the end of play date nut refrigerator cake topped with whip cream. This proved to be the most suc cessful and enjoyable tournament the club has sponsored.
