ston attended the funeral of Mrs.
Emily Lanier' last week who died
after a lingering illness at her home.
Mr. and Mrs. Hebourn Wilkins
have just returned home from a two
weeks visit with their son and
family, Mr. and Mrs. L. L. Wilkins
of Wilmington Mr. Wilkins who
had a foot injury several months
ago, is able to resume her duties at
her home now.

pital last Sunday where she has

slight automobile accident last Sat
urday night but released after a
check-up, is able, to be out again

days leave with his mother, Mrs.

Mr. "Sonny" Maybus of U. S.
Navy, Norfolk, Va., has been visit
ing with a pal, Mr. Jean Sanderson
also of Norfolk and U. S. Navy.
Mrs. Fennell Lanier was a recent

L. Sanderson of Magnolia for a day
helping in tobacco it is presumed!

fall season on friday evening. Ar

lilies and carnations were used in
the living and dining room.
Each individual table where the
guests "were seated for a desert
course, was centered with burning

Gravin a box of Christmas wrapping
paper for second high score and Mrs.
