The Rev. Norman Aycock officiated

Mrs. Lila K. Lanier of Beulaville,
pianist, and Lou Ann Davis of Pink
Hill; soloist, presented the wedding
music.
Given in marriage by her father,
Norman Sandlin, the bride wore a
waltz length gown of chantilly lace
and nylon tulle over duchess satin,
featured scalloped neckline, mould
ed basque embellished with irri
descent pailletes, and bouffant skirt
of alternate lace and shirred tulle
panels. Her veil was draped from a
lace plateace embroidered with pail
lettes and seed pearls. She carried
a white prayer book with white or
chids.
Miss Betty Jean Sandlin, sister of
the bride attended her as maid .of
honor. Her gown was of copen blue
velveteen and she carried a nosegay
of red roses and ribbons.
The bridesmaids were, Peggy
Sandlin, sister of the bride Janice
Sandlin, cousin of bride, Maggie
Lou Sikes, sister of the groom, Ro
sa Dean Rivenbark of Kenansville.
Their gowns were of Velveteen, the
Misses Sandlin wore rose and Miss
Sikes and Miss Rivenbark wore
gold. They carried nosegays of
talismen roses and bronze mums
with talismen ribbons.
Best man was the groom's father,
Mr. J. A. Sikes of Douglas, Georgia.
Ushers Were John Sikes of Poly
technic Institute, Auburn, Ala.,
Norman Sandlin Jr., of Beulaville,
Lloyd Johnson of Kinston, and El
more Sandlin.
