Mrs. Franklin Jones, hostess ,was as sisted by Mrs. Arnold Thomas and Mrs. Bill Williamson. The re ceiving rooms were decorated with roses and spring flowers. Chicken salad on lettuce, potato chips, crackers, mints, nuts, pound cake and punch was served to the 30 guests. The honored couple received a useful assortment of gifts. Mrs. Oliver Blizzard - Richland, Mo;; Dorothy Mau rin Blizzard daughter of Henry Elizabeth Lercher was born in' Sher man, Illinois on March 10, 1913 and departed this life at the home of her parents In Swadeborft Missouri May 6, 19M at 8:45 p.m. Due to her serious illness a tittle over month ago she was brought from her home in Kenansville, North Ca rolina to the Borne of her parents. She has been in failing health for the -past (8) years and bedfast the last (4) months. - v ",'' On February 4, 1948 she was un ited in marriage to Oliver Blizzard and to this union (1) son was bom. They have been making their home in Kenansvllle, North Carolina tor the past 10 years. Those that are (eft to mourn her passing, her devoted husband Oliv er of the home; (8) sons; Oliyer Lee Blizzard of the home;,, Alfred V. Pulllam serving with the U. S. Army in -Germany; and Robert D. Field of Kansas. City, Missouri; her parents,Mr and Mrs. Henry A. Lercher of Swedeborg, Mo., (2) sis ters, Mrs, Mary Hall of Bartesville, Oklahoma and Mrs. Margaret Young of Kansas City, Mo. (4) brother Al fredfred J. of Richland, Mo.; Earl of Lincoln, Illinois; Walter L. St. Louis, Mo.; Robert H. of Springfield, 111., also surviving are (2) grand daughters and many other relatives and friend. Last year she was converted and united with the Sareeta Methodist Church near Kenansvllle, N. C. and held true to her faith until her pass ing She was a kind and loving wife mother, daughter and sister and will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Funeral services were held last Monday May 7, 195S at 2:00 p.m. at the Hodges Funeral Home in Rich land with Rev.
