Since school is now out the Ken
ansville Girl Scouts are having
their regular meetings during this
summer in the Sunday School
Building of Grove Presbyterian
Church. The meeting held last
Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock
was presided over by Polly Brin
son assisted by Jane Brinson a
Scribe. Margaiet Grady was color
bearer while Gail Nicholson and
Sharon Stroud served as Guards.
During the social period Kaye
Wood was hostess and served iced
drinks and candy bars to the 11
members and six visitors present.
Several games were also enjoyed
before the leader, Mrs. N. B
Boney dismissed the troop.

ence and stressing the thought,
"Let Your light. Shine." The pre
sident introduced Joe Costin, San
itarian with the' Duplin County
Health Department who discussed
the timely subject of "Adequate
Water Supply and Proper Sewage
Disposal.' Tbe Demonstration on
"Adequate Wiring in the Home'
was given by Mrs. Inez B. Chest-

good start on Monday morning at
the Methdjst Church with 91 youns
boys and girls registering.
