served in Kenansville on Friday,
March 4, at 4:00 P. M. Services
will be held in the Kenansville Bap
tist Fellowship Room.
Other services will be held in the
Kenansville School and in the
home for the aged during the day.

Met Tuesday
A Patriotic Program in Memory
of George Washington was present
ed by the Worthy Matron, Louise
K. Boney when Kenansville Chapter
No. 215, Order of the Eastern Star
met here in the Lodge Hall on Tues
day night of this week at 7:30. Mrs.
Boney was assisted by Mrs. Pearl
T. Kornegay and Mrs. Celia M.
Stroud. A goodly number of mem
bers were presnet.
The next regular meeting will be
held on March the 8th. at which
time the annual election of officers
will be held.
Girl Scout Meeting
The regular weekly meeting of
the Kenansville Girl Scout Troop
No. 57 was held in the Scout Room
in the Elementary School building
last Wednesday at 3:15, with Mrs.
Jane Fields in charge. Ruth Rey
nolds presided at the meeting with
Anne Redwine aoting as the Scribe.
