She had one brother, William Cameron, who died in . Prior to becoming a teacher, Miss Cameron attended Miss Alice Heartt’s Private School, St. Mary’s School in Raleigh, and obtained an A. B. Degree from the University of North Carolina. /■” Miss Cameron is a member of the Episcopal Church and is active as a Sunday School teacher.
