Boland and John A, Bo land, of Cedar Grove Community have returned to the farm after being discharged from the armed forces. The Boland brothers are farming on their father’s farm. The Bolands plan to seed unproductive, and eroded areas to sericea l<sp£ deza to conserve and improve these areas. This winter they plan to clear up their old pasture, and reseed it to good. pasture mixture,’ Plans- are underway to build a farm fish pond.^lf will be used for fishing and , supplying water for tobacco plant' beds. One thousand loblolly pirles will be planted on small areas they do not plan to use for'crops, and is better suited for timber. Next spring the unpro ductive, shaded field borders will be seeded to sericea and bicolor lespedeza for bird feed, and to control erosion. These areas will also be used for field roads and for turning space.
