WARD County Accountant "It’s not our hat!” .he Southern Railway doesn’t pass the hat for your tax dollars. ( Other forms of commercial transportation use high ways, airports and waterways that are built and maintained with your tax dollars—and ours. But railroads are strictly on their own. Every penn^ , they spend to build and maintain their own steel “highways” comes right out of the railroads’ pockets —not yours. „ We’re glad we are not in the'“hat-passing”"class. We prefer to stand on our own financial feet in the old fashioned American way. And we believe that if there were no hat-passers in the transportation business ft. would be better for you and for all America. « <5- N =s President - i SOUTHERN RAILWAY SYSTEM (M ■ *
