Presbyterian Church In High Point
Saturday afternoon, March 25.
Dr. Paul Tudor Jones and the
Rev. Irving E. Brdseye perform
ed the ceremony.
The bride was escorted to the
altar by her father. She wore an
ankle-length blue lace gown
fashioned' with a “V” neck and
softly flared skirt Long sleeves
ended in points at the wrist. She
wore a lace half-hati wth an il
lusion bow at the back and car
ried baby orchids on a white
prayer book.
Miss Charlene Thomas, sister
of the bride, was maid of hohpr,
and bridesmaids were Miss Mary
Claytor, sister of the bridegroom,
of Hillsboro, and Miss Helen Posey
of Greensboro. r
Their ankle-length dresses of
ecru lace over taffeta were styl
ed with fitted bodice and bouf
fant skirts. They wore half-hats
of matching lace and carried arm |
bouquets of blue carnations.
Best man orv the bridegroom
was his brother, Fred T. Claytor.
Ushers were William Craytor,
brother cf the bridegroom, Wil
liam F. Welborn of Lexington,
William C. Brown of Greensboro,

ton-Salem.
The bride’s mother woi'te a |
dusty rose-crepe dress with black
accessories. Mrs. Claytor chose a
dove gray crepe gown with match
ing accessories. Each wore an
orchid corsage.
The bride and groom received
quests in the vestibule of the
church after the ceremony.

Street in Greensboro, where Mr.
Claytor is associated with Crutch
field-Browning Drug Company.
For traveling, the bride chose
an aqua dressmaker suit of gabar
dine, with brovyo» accessories. She

George M. Graham, 79, Member
of a well-known Orange County
family and long-time resident of
this community, were held from
St Matthews Episcopal Church
last Friday. Interment was in the
church cemetery.
Mr. Graham died in Winston
Salem, where he had been living
for the past several years, fl
owing an illness of one tveek.
He graduated from the Univer
sity of North Carolina in 1891 and
was captain of the football teem
‘hat year. In 1893 he received his
B. degree from the same school
Ouring his college years he was a
member of Zeta Psi fraternity.
Mr. Graham was the son of the
late Maj. John W. and Rebecca
Graham of Hillsboro.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Rob
ert Smallwood of New York; a
half brother, A. H. (Sandy) Gra
