Masonic Lodge Gets Donations , Chapel Hill — More than 200 held by the Masonic Lodge in Chapel Hill this week when spe cial chairs and pedestals for use of the Lodge’s officers in their official capacities were presented to the lodge by nine donors. The donors were Mrs.-R. 0| E. Davis of Washington, D. C., the former Birdie Pritchard of Chapel Hill; Mr. and Mrs. William M. Pughj Mr. and Mrs. John W. Humphreys, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Lipman, Robert E. Caldwell and Edward E. Caldwell. Mrs. Davis’ donation was in memory of her father, the late Capt. William N. Pritchard of Chapel Hill; her husband, R. O. E. Davis; and her two brothers, Wal ter H. Pritchard, and James Man ning Prjtchard. The gift of the Caldiwefis - was in honor of their father, Dr. Wall ace E, Caldwell, present £Jrand Master of the Masons in North Carolina and past master of the local lodge. H. P. Leighton, master of ' the lodge, opened the program and presented Dr. R. B. Lewson, past matster of the lodge, who presid ed. Congressman Carl T. Durham, a former teasurer, accepted the gifts on behalf of the lodge. James R. Pulley of Durham 3poke for the Oxford Orphanage and A. B.
