Chief Tom Roberts of Hills boro apparently tost one of his chief helpers, the town lost a plate glass window at the May or's office and the town hall frequenter Charlie Franklin got the scare of his life in the event which took place Saturday night. . Franklin get up to leave the hall and accidentally steppes) on the sleeping dog's foot, lost his balance and fell into the plate glass window. The win dow was sheltered as it fell to the cement and the dog made a hasty retreat. By late yesterday, thg town “had replaced the plate glass window, Franklin had recover ed his equilibrium, bur Mr. Tom had not found the missing late-hour companion.
