Va„ and William Polk Ches hire, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Webb Cheshire of "Over the River,” Hillsboro, were married with the Rev. A. Woodrow Laine officiating. Lighted cathedral candles, ferns end baskets of white flowers were used in the decorations of the church. Mrs. S. T. Moore of South Hill, at the console of the pipe organ, played the traditional wedding music and accompanied the soloist, George Taylor of South Hill. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a lovely gown of poi de soi enhanced with a trim ming of alencon lace embroidered with seed pearls. The chapel train had motifs of lace with pearl trims. Her finger-tip veil fell from a bandeu of lace and seed pearls. She carried a cascade bouquet of white brides roses centered with an orchid.
