of Carrboro went to Florence, S-C
last Sunday to attend funeral ser
vices for the infant son of Mr. and
Mrs. Wilton Lee Weaver, who for
merly lived in Carrboro. Funeral
and interment were in Florence
for the small infant child.
MOVE
Mr. and Mrs. Amos Home and
family moved last Friday into their,
new nine-room brick home on the
Hillsboro Highway. The new home
is modern, well-arranged and con
venient. Mr and Mrs. Horne have
a son, Robert, 10 years of age,
and a daugffter Deborah, seven.
TO BEACH
Mrs. W. L. Upchurch Sr. has as
visitors with her this week, her
son, Harvey Upchurch, of New
York, and her daughter, Mrs. R.
H. Patch and her children of
Waynesboro, Va. The family party
will spend this coming weekend
on a beach party.

only saving the over-burdened
housewife bet increasing family
unity through cooperation and ^in
creased time together. She con
cluded her demonstration by ex
hibiting many • mechanical gadgets
and aids that the homemaker cah
now obtain, at a very low coot, to
make her -work easier. ■
