New advertising, news persons join staff of News of Oranae ! Roger F. Hansen. 31, former manager of the Auburn, New York Chamber of Commerce, has; joined the News of Orange Coun ty advertising staff, it was an-: nounced today by E. J. Hamlin, publisher. Hansen resigned his New York position last July after srx yean! in chamber of commerce man agement, in order to move to North Carolina. He and his wife, Marion, and six-year old twins, Erie and Sally, have resided ip Winston-Salem since that time. M. Snipes, Chairman of the Orange County ASC Committee. In fact, farmers may sigrt up now to take part in this County's effort to: conserve our vital soil and water resources. To sign up a farmer should contact the Orange Coun ty ASC Office. Under the 1959 Agricultural Conservation Program approxi mately 500 Orange County farm- j ers used the program to streng then the nation's soil and water; resources. Funds available for financing I this farmer-government partner- j ship are limited. For this reason; it is suggested that farmers who have a conservation need which cannot be met through their re- j sources alone should sign up | early for needed federal assis- i tance.
