Tin Asheville Chamber of
Commerce has published a new
regional promotional brochure!
designed to give the visitor} a
complete look at where to go,
what to see and what to do in
Western North Carolina.
The new folder - entitled
"Mountain Attractions” includes
a map of the entire Land of the
Sky, as this area is popularly
called.
On tile map side also is a list
of 4# major Western North Caro
lina visitor attractions. These at
tractions are varied and inter
esting - some, such as the Blue
Ridge Partway and the Great
Smoky Mountains National Park
are nationally and internationally
famous. Biltmore House and Gar
dens, located at Asheville and
open to the public, is said to be
the most fabulous private resi
dence in America.
Listed also is Asheville’s Dog
wood Trail, a year round, self
conducted tour through the city’6
lovely residential sections and to
points of interest.
On the reverse side are 7 days,
7 trips, scenic tours radiating out
from Asheville. There are de
tailed maps with descriptions of
the trips. These tours cover the
Blue Ridge Parkway, Great
Smoky Mountains National Park.
