The Orange County Board of
Education has adopted the follow
ing policy resolution:
That the Board approve serv
icing busies owned and operated
by the Chapel Hill Schools in the
same manner in which County
owned ' and state-operated busses
are serviced, provided:
1. Chapel Hill city sdiools pay
the drivers and principals bus
travel directly, and ’
2. Chapel Hill cky schools in
sure their busses and be respon
sible for any dainage or liability
resulting from bus accidents, and
3. Chapel Hill city schools pay
for all services rendered their
busses including gas, oil grease,
anti-freeze, labor, parts, tires and
tubes as billed fay the Orange
County schools, making check
payable to the Slade Treasurer, and
4. Chapel HiH city schools, in
addition to the above payments,
pay Orange County schools $30
per month per bus for sendees,
and
5. Orange County Schools pro
vide a spare bus for Chapel Hill
City Schools when their busses are
not able to operate.

Glenn L. Vernon, graduate as
