All businesses in ail townships listing personal property must file their listing with the Business Tax Lister al
the County Courthouse in Hillsboro/with the exception of Chapel Hill and Carrboro firms which may also iisi
at night during the Special Night Appointments, scheduled for Chapel Hill Township below. If an appointment
is desired contact the County Tax Supervisor's Office in Hillsboro. After January 22nd appointments may be
made by calling Chapel Hill Number 692-6300.

Late List Penalty
10% of the total tax due will be added to all lists not filed during the month of January. The minimum penalty to be
assessed wilt be $1.00
All persons owning five or more acres of land must file,a Farm Census report.
