The driver, UNC student Odell Beck jr., told Patrolman George Penney the brakes on his car failed py ho pulled into a parking place. His car bounced onto the sidewalk, struck pedestrian W. A. Braxton and knocked * him down, and dented a fender as it struck a store building. C. Assn, of Mutual Fire Insurance Agents. The 1913 Mod el-T vehicle is being shown in the parades to promote the jun ior fire marshals program.
