While the water in the 120,000-gallon pool is to be changed only about once a year, it’s completely purified every 24 hours in a constantly working se ries of special process earth fil ters. NEW FOOL IN HILLSBOROUGH OPENS — Several hundred persons sought refuge from the 99 degree mid-afternoon heat last Sunday in the newly opened Park Valley private swimming pool at Hills borough. Constructed at a cost of $30,000, the pool corporation is set up for 175 family memberships with B. P. Gordon Jr. as President. It is a five-lane Olympic length {lb-foot) pool with a 32-foot deep-water diving area.
