Judge Davis allowed the jury to go and post poned his charge until today. C, Dec. 22 The Southern Manufacturers' Club, in view of the fact that the President contem plates a trip through the South and Southwest in the spring, has passed resolutions inviting him to stop at Charlotte on the tour and has appoint ed a committee to wait upon Mr. Roosevelt at Washington and urge the invitation upon him. It is understood that President Roosovelt will stop at five or six more important cities in this section and the members of the club entertain strong hopes that he may be prevailed upon to include Charlotte in that number.
