Miss Eva Graham is im proving at her home after a;i illness of several months. Lewis God bey has retu.ru'd to his home from the Vet erans Hospital in Salisbury where he has been taking treatments and examination for the past two weeks. Dr. and Mrs. Joe Wilker son, furloughed medical mis. sionaries from Formosa, are making plans to return there very soon. Dr. Wilkerson, will bring the message Sunday morning at the Unity Pres byterian Church and that is likely to be the last message he will be able to give before they return. All are invited to hear him. C. H. Wetmore returned the first of this week from New York where he spent several days seeing TV shows and es pecially the display and Christmas lightings on the avenues and in the stores. In this day, "Your Insurance Coverage" accident and plays a major role in the health problems of our nation, since much of the treatment and health' insurance coverage care needed could not be ob tained without insurance pro tection. Many persons carry insurance that they think will provide - benefits wherever needed, and they are disap pointed to find in some in stances that they must be hos pital confined to obtain bene fits from that particular po licy. EVeryone needs FULL cov erage, and that means that the p o I i c y will pay benefits WHEREVER needed, patients' home, doctor's office OR hos pital. This is most essential, as many of us do not want the inconvenience of going to a hospital when we could be cared for in the doctor's of fice or at our home. So, though this column does not in any way minimize the importance of hospital cover age, in fact recommends that all have it, but it DOES re commend that persons have full coverage. The chiropractic profession recommends coverages that pay benefits in the patient's home, doctor's office, OR the hospital AND this type of po licy is readily available. Always ask your insurance representative: does your poli cy pay for chiropractic serv ices, does it pay benefits in my home, by doctor's office OR the hospital? There are many companies that write such coverage and that do pay for chiropractic services on the same basis as any other treatment, and noth ing is too good for the sick or should have their American Right, their choice of doc tor. So let this column urge that you obtain such insurance, pol icies that pay benefits WHEREVER needed, and that allow choice of doctor, chiropractor, medical doctor or osteopath. If you are interested, write or call at this office for the pamphlet, "Important Insur ance Information," it's yours for the asking. Next week we will discuss SCIATICA one of the most painful afflictions known to man.
