HOOVER, JR. . .. wa* Lavinia Ann Sutton Hoove r-Suttor> Wedding Miss iayinia Ana Sutton of Charlotte and Kenneth Raynal Hoover Jr., of *m~A, Walker Road, Charlotte, were married on Saturday at four o'clock In the afternoon at Common wealth Methodist Chureh, Charlotte . The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chart* E. Button of 6130 Bridgeport Dr. Charlotte. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ken neth R, Hoover Sr. of Stokes Ferry Road, Salisbury. The Reverend A. L. Maxwel Jr. performed the ceremony. Mrs, John Ray of Charlotte was organist. The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a full-length gown of silk organza with sculptured neckline and sleeves outlined With embroidered lace appli ques. The sheath skirt was oomplimented with a remov able double step train which flowed from a bow at the waiftlmp. Hex; shttthteF; length mantilla veil fell from a bridal toque. A reception wgs given fol lowing the ceremony by the bride's parents at the Heart of Charlotte Motor Inn in the Rebel Room. The bride's ta ble was decorated with an arrangement of mixed spring flowers, Mrs. Margaret Mar tin and Mrs. Harry May, both aunts of the bride, served punch. Mrs. D. E. Cline of Mt, Sidney, Va., and Mrs.. Calvin Tyree of Keswick, Va., served wedding cake. Miss •Mac? . Cola - May, cousin of the bride, had charge of the guest book.
