Byerly Family
This picture was one owned by the late Miss Ola
Brown who died recently in Salisbury but was
a former resident of Cooieemee and Davie County.
It is of the Dr. Andrew Baxter Byerly family.
This particular picture was made on Erwin Street
at the old rock crusher which was located directly'
in front of {he M. L. Summers residence. According
to Mrs. Tullie Grimes, the Byerly's lived at No.
14 Erwin Street before moving to the old Byerly
homeplace on the corner of Cross and Church St
