April 23.1M9 United Methodist Schedules Special Services In May The Cooleemee United Methodist Church will hold a Lay Witness Mission from Fri day, May 2, through Sunday, May 4. The mission will begin with a covered dish and social at 6:90 p.m. at the church. It will close with a morning witness service at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, May 4. Mr. Cy Cooley, local church coordinator for the church, states that presently 20 wit nesses from throughout the state of North Carolina will be in attendance during this week end. Visitors are certainly welcome to attend all of the functions that will be held dur ing the weekend. A schedule of events will be printed in the paper next week.
