Davie Deaths Tobe F. Hellard MOCKSVILLE - Tobe Franklin Hellarxi, 60, Rt. 1, Mocksville died Thursday at the Veteran's Hospital in Oteen. Mr. Hellard was born Feb. 11, 1909 in Davie County and was the son of the late Jesse and Anna Hamilton Hellard. He was a veteran of World War II and was employed by Heritage Furniture Company in Mocksville. Survivors include his wile, Miss Myrtle Griffith Hellard; one son, James Aaron Hellard, Norfolk, Va.; one daughter, Mrs. Richard Carter, Virginia Beach; four brothers, Carl, Allen, and Theo, all of Rt. 6, Salisbury; Baxter of Cooleemee; one sister, Mrs. Cecil Davis of Salisbury; two grandchildren and four step grandchildren. Ralph Frye MOCKSVILLE - Ralph Laf feto Frye, 56. of 610 Park Ave., Salisbury, died Wednesday afternoon. He was born March IS, 1913, in Davie County, the son of Mrs. Mable Cartweght Frye of Cooleemee and the late Rufus Laffcttc Frye. He was a retired Army veteran. A brother. James Vern Frye of Cool(x-1nee, also survives. • —• UMYF Officers The UMYF officers of the Cooleemee United Methodist Church for 1969-70 have been chosen.
