Lions Install New
Officers For Year

the Coo'.eemee Lions Club were
installed on Monday, June 23,

United Methodist Church for

Will Begin Early
At The Ball Park
The Old Fashioned Fourth of July Celebration
will be h_-id Friday in the ball park. The local
Jaycees and Jaycettes cordially invite everyone
to join them for an entire day of fun for the
family.
The celebration will get underway beginning
at 9 a.m. and continue throughout the day.
A variety of contests will be held and prizes
will be awarded to winners of each group. There
will be pony rides for the kids and evervone will
enjoy the entertainment provided by the local Senior
Citizens' String Band.
Tickets will be on sale for •'Firecracker", the
registered toy chihuahua that will be presented
to the lucky ticket holder in the afternoon.
Support your local Jaycees and Jaycettes and
have fun doing it.
