Mr. Blackwelder is now living with his daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Ward, of Lexington. Mrs. Workman, a cooleemee native, was pre viously living in Raleigh. KENNETH HOLT, FRED GRIFFITH and JOE HELM have returned from a fishing trip on Lake Norman over the weekend. It was a perfect trip. They caught about 60 pounds of bass. MR. AND MRS. ROSCOE EUDY of Pine Ridge spent the weekend in Lexington with Mrs. Eudy's sister who recently re turned home from Lexington Memorial Hospital. Miss Berrier, J. K. She wore a formal gown of vshite satin peau de soie. styled on princess lines, with lace trim at the V-neckline. Her full-length, illusion veil was bordered in lace, and she held a prayerbook. centered with a white orchid. Miss Marlene Boger was maid of honor. Miss Jeannie McDaniel of Cooleemee. Miss Peggy Hoover of Charlotte, and Lana Leamon of Dover, Pa., were bridesmaids. Charlotte Junker and Karen Carter at tended as flower girls. Tim Gantt of Hickory and Richard Hi ndricks ushered. Will Junker was nngbearer Mrs. Doris is a graduate of Du\ie County High School and the Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing in Charlotte. She is presently a U.S. Navy nurse in Jacksonville, Fla., where the couple will make their home. Mr Doris is also serving in the U.S. Navy. MR AND MRS BILL WHITE were the weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. L. B. Owen and fami ly. On Saturday night, they all went out to dinner to celebrate the Owen's anniversary. The Whites returned home Sunday night. MR. AND MRS. HENRY SHOAF and MR. AND MRS. DEWEY JORDAN spent Sun day touring the mountains and also visited Dalton Park. MRS. BUD FOSTER of Le xington accompanied Miss Stella Cuthrell home Sunday afternoon. Miss Cuthrell had spent the previous week in Le xington. a guest of the Fosters. Mocksville Mrs. Adeline Parks, while she was a patient at Baptist Hospi tal in Winston-Salem. Mrs. Parks, who underwent eye sur gery is now staying with her daughter on Route 4, Mock sville. This was the second time for this type surgery for Mrs. Parks, who celebrated her 100 th birthday in May. MRS. JENNIE PIERCE of Riverside Drive is seriously ill at Davie Hospital. Charles Nail returned to Washington, D. C. yeaterday. He came to attend the funeral services of his aunt, Mrs. Nora Riddle, and to visit with his mother, Mrs. Barney Nail and other relatives. He also attended the morning service at the Cooleemee United Methodist Church Sunday. MRS. GRACE RIDENHOUR is expected to return home from Davie Hospital this week. She is improving.
