Every voter in the county will be given four ballots. Those voters registering in the special Dutchman Creek Watershed trustee vote in the precincts of North Mocksville, South Mocks ville, darks ville, Farming ton, Jerusalem, Smith Grove, West Shady Grove, and East Shady Grove will have the fifth ballot on which appears the name of David White for trustee. He is unopposed. Every voter In the county will consider four ballots, as follows: FOE MEMBER OF CONGRESS (Fifth Congressional District): James G. (Jim) White (Democrat) and Wilmer (Vinegar Bend) Mixell (Republican). OFFICIAL BALLOT FOR STATE OFFICERS OF THE GENERAL COURT OF JUSTICE: On this ballot ap pears the Democratic nominees: William H. Cooleemee PTA To Sponsor Supper The Cooleemee PTA will spon sor the annual Chicken Pie Sup per Saturday at the school cafe teria. Serving will begin at 5 pm . and continue until 8 p.m Take out orders will also be filled. Admission is 75 cents for all elementary students. High School students and adults is $1.25. 25 and to authorize Governor to reorganize Administrative Departments, subject to legislative approval. 3. FOR or AGAINST the constitutional amendment permitting three-fifths of the members of the General Assembly to convene extra sessions of the General Assembly. 4. FOR or AGAINST the consitutional amendment revising those portions of the present or proposed State Constitution concerning State and local finance. 5. FOR or AGAINST the consitutional amendment authorizing the General Assembly to fix personal exemptions for income tax purposes. 6. FOR or AGAINST the constitutional amendment providing that after June 30, 1971, the escheats shall be used to aid North Carolina residents enrolled in any public in stitution of higher education in this State. 7. FOR or AGAINST the constitutional amendment Hie Jaycettes are still picking up cakes for the Cake Walk. Knox, Ky. / Army Private Herbert M Ja cobs. Jr. is assigned to Com pany D. 15 Battalion. 4 Brigade, in the Training Center. Armor (USATCA) at Fort Knox. Ken tucky. He will spend the next two months learning the fundamen tal skills of the soldier in todays modern action army firing live ammunition under simu lated combat situations, learn ing protective measures and first-aid for chemical biological and radiogical attacks, as well as being schooled in the use of modern arms. Interspaced with the constant emphasis on proper physical conditioning, diet, rest and health habits, will be ample opportunity to utilize USATCA's many and varied recreational and religious facilities. Cooleemee will receive at least an additional eight weeks of either advanced in struction or on-the-job training to qualify him in a specialized military skill. abolishing literacy requirement Absentee Ballots The deadline for making applications for absentee ballots expired as of S p. m. October 28th. Dr. R. F. Kemp said that only in case of emergency illness can absentee ballots be ob tained now. "Anyone becoming ill after ( p. m., October 28th may make application up until Monday. All sucb applications must be accompanied by a doc tor's certificate", said Dr. Kemp. Applications for ab sentee ballots may be made to Ally. William E.
