Mr.- Sherwood Brockwell, of Raleigh, spent several days here la^l week traiuiug and in truding our local firemen. Mr. Brockwell is \vide1y known throughout the Slate, ivjving been Chief of the Raleigh Fire Department, and trained in the New York Fire College. The Farmville Fire Department is very fortunate to have Mr. Brockwell to initrudl them along the various lines that he did each day while he was here. He de livered a lee'lure iu the Opera House Friday night, there being a number of citizens present who are interested iu our Fire Com pany. We are indebted to Mr. Brockwell, and we feel that Farmville is greatly benefitted by his coming. You are wel come to come again Mr. Brock well.
