Only Market in East Making a Ga'n* With Erection of Twtf Large Plants and Normal Crop, The Market expects to Sell Ten or Twelve Million Next Season. ? I That the Farmville Tobacco market, which closed Wednes day of this week for the season, is destined to be one the largest markets of the ea& is evidenced by the glorious fact that for the season jusft 'dosed it made a gain in pounds over last season of half million, with the shortest crop raised in several years; while all the other markets will fall short from a half to several million pounds. With the erection of two addi tional large tobacco plants in Farmville, for the coming sea son?the contracts* for which have alreadj^been let? and with an average crop the Farmville market will most ^assuredly sell around ten or twelve million. Farmville is indeed fortunate in having at the head of this great industry here such men as Chas. R. Townsend, J. Y. Monk, J. M. Hobgood, J. 'Bob' Newton, R. H. Knott and others, who are acknowledged to be among the cleverest set of warehousemen that ever graced a market in the south? a set of men who have the farmers' interests at heart, men, who have, by their honest and clever dealings, won the confidence of the people. Farmville has also beeir - nate in obtaining as fine and^s clever set of buyers as can be found on any market anywhere, men, who not only take care of their company's interest, but do every thing possible to satisfy the farmers. A market operating upon such principles as these, with men such as the above named at the helm, is bound to succeed. Success to Farmville's tobacco market. CUP THIS AND PIN ON WIFE'S DRESSER Cincinnati man tells how to shrivel up corns or. calluses so they lift off with fingers. Ouch !?!?!? This kind of rough talk will be heard less here in- town if people troubled with corns will follow the simple advice of this Cincinnati authority, who claims that a few drops of a drug called freezone when applied to a tender, aching corn or hardened cal lus stops soreness at once, and soon the corn or callus dries^up and lifts right off without pain. He says freezone dries immediately and never inflames or even irritates the surrounding skin. A small bottle of freezone will cost very little at any drug store, but will positively remove every hard or soft corn or callus from one's feet. Millions of American women will welcome this announcement since the inauguration of- the high heels. , If your druggist doesn't have freezone tell him to order a small bottle for you.
