MONEY FROM POULTRY
We publish the following from a
Knoxville newspaper, because we be
lieve poultry to be the source of
money-making for many young men
and women who are willing to work:
"Fifteen hundred dollars a week
from the sale of baby chicks and
hatrhtng of eggs is the record of C.
A. Norman, former clerk in Miller
Department Store in Knoxville.
"Entering the poultry business
eight years ago, Mr. Norman began
with three 400-egg size incubators.
Today his business requires eight
10,000-egg capacity incubators and he
is planning to install more equipment

"In the year 1922 this farm sold
ISOgOOO.OO worth of poultry products.
Practically all the shipping is do^e
by parcel post, and the business is
all conducted on a twenty-acre tract
of land just outside of KnoxviHe.
For the first six months of 1923 be
received 4,500 orders, many -from
neighboring states. Tim farm is only
-about ten minutes' drive from the
heart of the city. The thousands of
birds are carefully cared for by a
graduate poultry husbandman and !
