She was accompanied at the piano by her sister, Miss Flor ence Overton, of Greenville. Miss Velma Owens, a teacher at Stokes, spent the week end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe. R. Owens. The Baptist Missionary society held its regular monthly meeting at the home of Mrs. E. B. Beasley last Thurs day. Miss Miriam Turley, of E. C. T.
