Rev. and Mrs. Gilbert Davis were the dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Corbett, Sunday. Friends will be sorry to learn that Misa Edwina Bureh is in Duke Hos pital to undergo a minor operation. Mr. and Mis. Sam Jenkins and children, Misses Clara and Ruth, and Miss Ruby Taylor, visited relatives in Raleigh, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Jason Shirley were called to Wilson Saturday night on the account of the illness of Mrs. Shirley's mother, Mrs. Ida Bass. Henry Burch, James Albert Red dick and Bob Lang have returned to Wake Forest after spending the mid term holidays at their homes here. The Junior Class of the Walston burg High School will present "For Pete's Sake" in the school auditorium Friday evening, Feb. 5 at 7:30 o'clock. "For Pete's Sake" is a comedy which concerns the adventures of three college boys. The admission is l(5c for children and 20c for adults. WOMAN'S CLUB MEETS The Woman's Club met with Mrs. Isaac Rouse Wednesday afternoon. During the business session it was decided to send five dollars to the flood relief fund.
